PHY SET MATERIAL DYNAMIC FRICTION

Set the dynamic friction property of a material.

PHY SET MATERIAL DYNAMIC FRICTION ID, value#

the new level of dynamic friction

  Returns

  Description

The dynamic friction of an object controls how energy is lost when sliding. When a high friction value is used more energy will be lost when sliding and the object will slow down quickly. When a low friction value is used less energy is lost when sliding and it will take longer for the object to slow down and come to a stop.
